We will begin open season workouts on this Friday, April 19th at 4pm. These 4 workouts are open to any young man at Blacksburg High School that has interest in playing basketball this Winter. Let’s get to work!

Blacksburg Wildcat Baseball senior players each chose to honor an educator as their DIFFERENCE MAKER. Congratulations to these seniors and their Difference Makers: Levi Barrett and Mrs. Jennifer Taylor; Wesley Bright and Mr. Jesse Grigg; Jordan Evans and Mrs. Tina Blackwell; Jacob Gilfillan and Coach Josh Batchler; and Ethan Pennington and Mrs. Pam Hughes.

Students toured Clemson Universities where they received an in depth look at the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism and Sports Communication Programs. Students spoke with the assistant director of the program and were able to discuss with a current student to get detailed information for the programs.

Thank you to the BHS baseball team for coming to read to our students today to finish out our Read Across America week! Here is part of the team reading to our second graders.

BHS students had the opportunity to attend the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Fair this week at the Charlotte Convention Center. Students were able to explore over 30 colleges and apply for scholarships.

We are so proud of our Lady Wildcats, especially our seniors! Thank you and your wonderful coaches for bringing it all season long! Here is some of the programs accomplishments. -Four straight region championships -Ranked in the top 10 consistently over the course of those four years -20 and 0 at home in region games -Played in national tournaments in Orlando Florida and Pensacola Florida -Numerous all state and all region selections in over a four year span. Blacksburg Wildcats Softball Softball begins this week and this fundraiser is very important for them! Come support Blacksburg softball AND eat some great food!
