I am very thankful for our BHS RADA students stepping up to do big things. Like I told the students today, these RADA students make my job easy and they are heroes! Many of them were very nervous to speak to their peers today but they faced fear and did a wonderful job! I'm so proud of them all! Our guest servers continue to make National School Lunch Week special at BHS. BHS alum Terrell Allen works as a Cherokee County Sheriff”s Department deputy. This morning he served breakfast to our students before posing with students and our tie-dyed lunch bunch. Mrs. Donna Smith, our retired cafeteria manager, got right back into action in the kitchen for lunch as our guest server. Students enjoyed the smoothies offered today as a special celebration.

Chelsey Sims of Trinity AME Zion Church of Blacksburg joined Mrs. Mary Charles on the line, with smiles all around!

Today is Decades Day. BHS has changed through the decades. Created by BHS alum Annie Dillingham and shared with her blessings, see if you can spot some oldies but goodies in her collage. Is that Head Football Coach Josh Batchler looking extremely blonde wearing jersey #6 for the Wildcats?
