Senior spotlight of the day Reagan Elliott. Reagan is a dedicated BHS student planning to attend a four-year college. She loves how supportive and friendly the school community is, with staff always approachable. James Davis, a teacher who care about both education and mental health, has made a big impact on her. Reagan is active in the Beta Club, Art Club, Empowered Girls  Club, and is cheerleading captian. Her advice to incoming ninth graders: "Be yourself and don't try to impress anyone-it's only high school, and you won't care in five years."

He's been mentored by Mr. Blackburn throught his time at BHS, gaining guidance and support. Will's advice to rising ninth graders: "Study hard, work hard, play hard. That's my motto."

He goes the extra mile wiht his team mates. He knows the scheme extremely well, and helps to ensure that we are in the right protections and plays. I really appreciate his hard work. New Update: following the seven-day school closure, Cherokee County School District is allowing time for students to make up missed content. We are extending the end of the first quarter by five instructional days, from October 10 to October 18. The second-quarter end date, December 20, will not change. We will communicate a revised timeline for grade submission and report cards ASAP.
