The Blacksburg Woman'sClub presents Miss Blacksburg. Miss Blacksburg is the overall winner, A Senior, who is awarded a scholarship of $1,500. Grade Level Winners are awarded scholarships of $20. Miss Senior, Miss Junior, Miss Sophomore, Miss Freshman. Sunday April 27, 2025. All participants complete in the categories of interview, physical fitness, formal wear, and academic achievement. Seniors are additionally required to perform a talent. Pick up application in the BHS main office, which are due Friday, January 24.

CCSD is continually amazed by the incredible work of our students and teachers. On Monday evening, the Culinary Arts program from The Institute of Innovation catered the premiere of “Spark! Places of Innovation,” hosted by the City of Gaffney. Two students, Natalie Turner of BHS and Bailee Mullinax of GHS, joined their instructor Mrs. Katie Goodson in serving at the event. The food was delicious, and all three represented our district perfectly!
