In partnership with Blacksburg High School, the Blacksburg Women’s Club is excited to announce a new and inclusive program for all grade levels for our young ladies at Blacksburg High School. Our new program, Miss Blacksburg, will encompass freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior participants with a grade level winner and runner up being awarded for each grade. All students at Blacksburg High School will be eligible to participate if they meet the attendance, behavior, and academic guidelines. We will recognize an overall winner, a Senior, as Miss Blacksburg High School. Miss Blacksburg High School will receive a larger monetary scholarship than the grade level winners. Participants will compete in the categories of interview, physical fitness, formal wear, and academic achievement. Additionally, the Senior participants will be required to perform a talent of their choice. Updates will be posted soon. Participant applications are available in the BHS main office.
