The Varsity softball game vs Chesnee (6:00 PM) has been canceled today! Also, the JV & varsity baseball double header vs Landrum (5:00/7:30 PM) will be canceled due unsound field conditions. Due to official shortages, these games will be available for make-up following spring break. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize player safety!

The C team baseball double header, scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at BHS has been cancelled and moved to Dorman High School. There will only be one game at Dorman @ 11:00 AM! Thank you!

The SCBDA Region 6 Honor Band Clinics were held this past weekend, and several CCSD students were selected for the honor of participation. These students had previously auditioned in January and were chosen for ensembles based on the results of those auditions.
All students rehearsed at Spartanburg High School throughout the day on Friday and most of Saturday morning. They performed a concert Saturday afternoon.

JD and Taylor were among the top 30 boys and girls players chosen in the Upstate of South Carolina! The game will be played on March 14 at Wofford College. Girls- 4pm, Boys- 5:30pm.

Cherokee County School District is pleased to announce that the Winterguards from Blacksburg and Gaffney High Schools earned second place finishes in their respective classes at the Carolina Winter Ensembles Association (CWEA) competition on Saturday, February 28th. Blacksburg High School's Winterguard placed 2nd in Scholastic AAA, and Gaffney High School's Winterguard placed 2nd in Scholastic Regional AA.
